FreeBSD based Home Server

On July 15th 2014 I build my own NAS.

Software

• FreeBSD 10.0

Prior to installing FreeBSD I ran MemTest86 for about an hour, which did not report any malfunctions. (1 hour is not a lot of time, so I need to redo this) Installing FreeBSD went like a charm, the installation procedure is described very well on the FreeBSD site.
